Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wavionet (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use our website, dashboard, and proxy services (the “Service”).
1. Who this covers
Account holders — business owners who sign up for Wavionet. Website visitors — people who browse a customer site that is connected through our edge proxy and floating widget.
2. Information we collect
Account data: name, email, authentication identifiers (via Firebase), plan/billing status, domains you claim, and widget settings you configure.
Visitor / session data (on connected sites): page views, clicks, form and bot lead fields (such as name, email, phone), approximate location from the edge network (country/city), IP address, user agent, and referrer. This is used to power Visitor Queue, scoring, and alerts for the account holder.
Usage metering: counts of tracked events and Website bot messages (token-weighted) for plan limits.
3. How we use data
- Provide and improve the Service
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Show leads and session activity in your dashboard
- Enforce plan limits and prevent abuse
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with law when required
We do not sell personal data to third-party data brokers.
4. AI / Website bot
If you enable the Website bot, visitor questions, conversation turns, and your pasted business knowledge or uploaded documents may be sent to our AI provider (for example Google Gemini) to generate short answers. Do not put secrets or regulated health data in knowledge fields or uploads unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
5. Processors we rely on
We use infrastructure providers such as Google Cloud / Firebase (auth & database), Cloudflare (edge proxy & CDN), and email delivery as configured. They process data only to help us run the Service.
6. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Session and event data is retained for product history and may be deleted when you delete a website or request account deletion. You can request deletion by emailing hello@wavionet.com.
7. Your choices
You may access or update account details in the dashboard, disconnect a domain, delete a website (and its sessions), or contact us to export or delete personal data we hold about you as an account holder.
8. Security
We use HTTPS in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and keep your DNS and origin host locked down.
9. Children
The Service is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
10. Contact
Privacy questions: hello@wavionet.com or our Contact page.
